The energy at Dreamforce 2024 is off the charts! If you thought Dreamforce 2023 was groundbreaking with its AI focus, you’re in for a treat this year. The major announcement is set to redefine everything we thought we knew about AI.
As trailblazers embark on this new chapter: One thing is clear, Salesforce is leading the charge in defining the next wave of technological advancement. Building on last year’s remarkable advancements in AI, this year’s launch of Agentforce, a suite of AI agents that does all the heavy lifting in sales, marketing, and service, to power moves with NVIDIA, this year it’s all about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
With 45000 trailblazers eagerly waiting to witness the next innovation of Salesforce at the Moscone Centre, the excitement was sky-high. Then, stepping onto the stage was our first speaker Lynne Zaledonis, EVP for partner and customer success at Salesforce, ready to welcome the attendees.
Then, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived, Marc Benioff, the maestro behind Salesforce, took the stage. Marc’s entrance was the perfect prelude to the groundbreaking announcements to come.
He begins by saying,
“This Dreamforce is really like no other Dreamforce we’ve ever had. This is about humans and robots driving customer success together.”
Third Wave Of AI: Agentforce
As AI took center stage in recent years, Salesforce kicked off with Einstein, bringing predictive AI into the spotlight. Acknowledging that Copilot world had its ups and downs, he stated, “We don’t see how this Copilot world is going to get us the better business results we’ve been looking for.”
Salesforce is now set to change the game. By launching Agentforce, autonomous AI agents built to automate tasks across sales, marketing, and service, we have stepped into the third wave of AI he says.
They’ve combined all their Customer 360 apps into one platform, creating the most accurate AI system ever. This new approach integrates chatbots and copilots, with plans to expand further. It’s a complete, all-rounder solution that’s both automated and easy to use.
New Data Cloud features
Salesforce is rolling out new features for its Data Cloud to significantly enhance the capabilities of its AI agents. These updates include advanced data lakes for managing extensive information, support unstructured data like audio and video, add 50 new connectors, and include a low latency data layer for quicker responses from AI agents.
Salesforce expects these enhancements to help its AI agents manage complex tasks, offer personalized interactions, and ultimately increase sales and customer satisfaction.
